Your website runs on WordPress software and that software requires maintenance to keep it running smoothly. WordPress releases small upgrades every month or so and larger more complex upgrades 3-4 times a year. We offer stress-free maintenance packages (see pricelist) for all those times when the software needs updating or when something goes wrong and your website needs to be fixed.
A successful web presence requires ongoing upgrades and regular attention to your site’s technical requirements and needs—improving functionality with new plugins can improve visitor experiences, for example. Enjoy the peace of mind that comes with a fixed-price maintenance plan and you won’t have to worry about surprise bills if something goes wrong with your site and it takes a lot of time to put it back in order.
Maintenance Service for WordPress
- WordPress software upgrades & plugin updates (plugins are tools that add extra functionality to your site)
- Weekly database backup (in case there is a problem with your site and it needs to be restored)
- Prioritizing and executing WordPress security updates when released
- Installing plugins that you request or we recommend (if you need new functionality or a better plugin comes out to meet your needs, we will make a recommendation and make the change)
- If something goes wrong with your site, we’ll fix it
- Rearranging sidebar items as needed
- If we set up your template site, we’ll update your template when new versions come out and make sure that your website / blog continues to work properly.
- If you have a custom website / blog that we designed and developed, when a new version of 1 of the big 3 browsers comes out (Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer), we’ll make sure that your website / blog works with new browser versions.
- BONUS for customers with yearly plans: if template updates or optimizations for new browser versions take more than the allotted maintenance hours, you won’t have any additional fees.
