Don’t Forget Your Fan Page Vanity URL!

ScribblesYou’ve created a Facebook fan page for your business. It’s beautiful until you get a look at the URL at the top of your browser. It’s long and somewhat gibberish. Go on over to: www.facebook.com/username/ and give your fan page an understandable username. You need to already have 25 fans to get a vanity URL.

Rather than having a URL like: http://www.facebook.com/pages/SilverSpring-MD/Chaos-To-Clarity/166942438444

You can have on like: http://www.facebook.com/chaos.to.clarity

Why bother? A vanity URL is a lot easier to remember and type. Using the same username of your page also reinforces your branding.
