The following is my list of my current five favorite low cost games for the iPod® Touch/iPhone®. I decided to purchase each of these games after trying the free “lite” versions and I am glad I bought the “pro” versions. I have spent countless hours playing these entertaining games.

1. Fuzzle – CandyCane Inc. ($0.99)

In this game your object is to move different colored balls around the board to try to make chains of five balls of the same color, which removes them from the board. You can only move one ball at a time. After each move more balls are added to the screen with the exception being after you’ve created a link of 5 or more of the same the color. I have previously written about iPod® touch / iPhone® applications that help with productivity. Now, it is only fitting that I write about applications that can keep one from being in any way productive…I’m talking games.

There are hundreds if not thousands of game applications that can be downloaded through iTunes to play on your iPod® Touch or iPhone. Many are offered for free and there are also free “lite” versions of games which offer limited or restricted play of paid “pro” apps so you can see if you like the game before you make a purchase.
